Adventures in Grading.

My favorite line from student papers so far this week: "When his father died, Hyde's mother gave the physicians permission to keep him alive."

That was mighty generous of her, student guy. That was mighty generous.

Oh ya? I watched someone give an “informative” speech on rainbows. She explained that the different colors come as the rain drops pass through different layers of the atmosphere, including the Mesosphere and Thermosphere. She added that the number one benefit of rainbows was that they clean pollutants out of the air and helped create more oxygen.

Very informative, not so much about rainbows, but informative none the less.
